  1. How to Keep Your Skin Hydrated Don't we all know that water is the (not-so-secret) elixir of good health? But, when it comes to moisturizing our skin, are we as knowledgeable? Humidity, hard water, air conditioning, and our food can all contribute to the loss of moisture from our skin. Don't worry, there is assistance available! Learn how to hydrate skin with these ideas, which range from a hydrating face mask (don't mind if we do) to the best technique to apply hydrating face cream. It's true that we are what we eat, so stock up on water-rich foods and beverages to stay hydrated from the inside out! Watermelon, cucumber, and tomatoes are excellent starting points, with Omega-3 (think salmon, tuna, and chia seeds) also ranking high on the hydration scale. Are you short on time? Put a handful of your favorite fruits in a daily smoothie to get your vitamins (and water!) all at once. 1. Use A Hydrating Mask Checking the components in our favourite yoghurt is obvious, but what about our skincare? Keep an eye out for harsh chemicals that can take moisture from the skin, leaving it dried, dry, and dull. Not sure where to begin? Choose products from Simple brand that are gentle on the skin and have skin-loving components such as Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, and Glycerin.

  2. 2. Use A Face Mask Dehydrated skin may require a significant boost at times. A moisturising face mask once a week can help keep your skin hydrated and leave it feeling plump and smooth. The Simple Water Boost Hydrating Sheet Mask effectively combats the five indications of dehydration (dryness, roughness, dullness, tightness, and dehydration lines—phew!). It's the ideal quick pick-me-up for even the busiest schedules! When our skin's barrier is compromised, it can lose moisture and become dehydrated, resulting in redness, breakouts, tightness, and dryness. While the correct skincare may assist reinforce the barrier, it's also a good idea to increase moisture in your skin. How? 3. Use Water Boost First and foremost, continue to drink—yes, we know, but the more we drink, the more hydrated (and bright and clear-looking!) our skin will be. Then, use a topical hydration aid, such as Simple Water Boost Hydrating Booster. This contains substances such as Pentavitin, a plant extract that is widely recognised for increasing moisture levels in your skin cells. What's the best part? Skin will feel plump, dry spots will be relieved immediately, and the moisture will not wash away! 4. Use A Moisturiser We all know that moisturiser is essential for keeping our skin moisturised and our lipid barrier happy. So, why not make your moisturiser do more for your skin? First and foremost, use it within a few minutes after stepping out of the bath or shower to avoid losing unnecessary water from your skin. Richer creams may leave your skin appearing a touch glossy throughout the day, so apply them at night. Try Simple brand’s SimpleWater Boost Skin Quench Sleeping Cream, which will help rehydrate and nourish your skin while you sleep. This article was originally published here.
