Equipment needed For cricket, there is a lot of equipment needed. • Bat • Gloves • Knee pads • Box/cup • Helmet • Cricket bag
Variations of the equipment These are just some types of Bats throughout the market.
Skills required In cricket you have to be fast, have a lot of strength and just plain skill. In cricket the skill that you must have is being fast. E.g. when batting and when fielding. The skill that I need most improvement is batting. When I bat, I don’t seem to hit the ball most of the time so I need to work on my coordination. But I think my area of strength is fielding because I'm good at catching and throwing.
Cost of sport To register for cricket, it usually cost around $120 but with the cost of all the equipment it will bring it up to around $300-$400
How often I take part in cricket I played every weekend but not anymore because it isn't in season anymore. Also training would be on Wednesday nights. I would like to register again for next season.
What got me interested What got me interested was playing cricket when I was young, playing with my brother. What kept me interested was playing for clubs and at school
Recommendation People should play cricket because it has many variety of roles but a reason why they shouldn’t is because it is a slow game. There isn't much running around when fielding.
