Paucity is an adjective that means a shortage or lack of supply. Derived from Latin language. Paucity is typically used by many people when people don’t have enough of something. Shortage and deficiency are some synonyms but a surfeit is an antonym of paucity. When there is a paucity of waterpeople use husbandry to conserve the resources. When I don’t have any clean clothes I yell to my mom that I have a paucity of clothes.
