Journal writings • You will need to bring your journal EVERY CLASS. • There will be a random journal question on the board as you walk into the classroom every time you have ELA class. • You will get 5 – 10 minutes to answer the question, that is giving, in COMPLETE SENTENCES AND A PARAGRAPH IN LENGTH (7 – 8 sentences).

  3. Reading logs • You will get a reading log sheet (double sided), so that you can record how much you have read. • You are to fill out the reading log each time you read. • You will get a period once a cycle of silent reading, which counts towards your reading log. • Your reading log is due at the end of every month, which has to have a PARENT SIGNATURE. • First due date: JANUARY 31ST, 2014 (YES THIS IS FOR MARKS)
