This cable is usable at those models which were assembled with “Zebra trip” too. Sacer developed a new replacement LCD display only for Audi A6(2004-2006). The lcd display without any ribbon cable, just the same as OE. Advantages of lcd display for instrument cluster Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) technology, while we cannot live without it, comes with some advantages as well as some disadvantages. While earlier technologies were more reliant on Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) technology, LCD technology generally surpasses CRT technology for most applications. Yet, LCD technology continues to evolve and change. As mobile devices and smartphones emerge, many applications are now reliant on LCD touch screen technology. The fact remains, LCD technology is very much needed to display our powerful online graphics, video, and text solutions. The lcd display only for Audi A6(4F)(2004-2011)/Q7(4L)(2006-) is applied for ACC unit. It is the same as the OE. Without any cable, need to connect with zebra to the main PCB at customer side. There are two models for Audi A6/Q7 ACC unit. Model 1 (grey housing): LCD with flat cable. Sacer produce flat only, part no. SA9038. Model 2 (black cover): LCD only, SA1240. Please note SA1240 can not use on model 1. We suggest you to replace the SA1240 from two sides together to get the same contrast.
