Without progress, you will be eliminated by the world. We upgrade LCD display with FPC for the instrument cluster. The majority of LCD displays contain a built in LCD driver IC . Sometimes the original driver IC stopped production, i think it may bring some troubles for some people. But now Sacer has solved this problem for you, we research and develop a technology that make the driver IC the same as the original. What is a driver IC The driver IC is a small microprocessor that converts the customer’ s software code (aka firmware) to information that the LCD can understand. The LCD screen then displays graphics, characters, images and numbers to be seen by the end user. If the display did not contain a driver IC, the engineer would have to address each segment and pixel independently. Function of driver IC Driver ICs are critical components of TFT-LCD panels. Driver IC receives image data and delivers precise analog voltages or currents to activate the pixels on the display. When voltage is applied to the liquid crystal within each pixel cell, the liquid crystal is bent, thereby changing the intensity of light that passes through each individual pixel. Combined with the colour filter on the front glass substrate, each pixel generates its own colours which, together with other pixels, make up the whole image on the panel. What is the new technology of LCD display with FPC and driver IC for Audi A3 As we all know the driver IC is very important for LCD display.
