Human Resources within VISION 2020 HR Program Committee (originally HR Working Group) • Established in 2005 by IAPB Board • Linked to other major components of VISION 2020: • Disease Control • Infrastructure & Appropriate Technology
HRPC Priorities • Support formation and effectiveness of Regional Human Resource Working Groups • Mainstream VISION 2020 HR into health systems and the broader global health workforce alliance. • Develop a single, core reporting tool on HR availability, needs, and training • Exchange strategies for HR development across regions. • Develop Global HR capacity building for research (including research on impact of HR strategies).
