  1. Fill out the abstract submission request form as specified. You will receive an email shortly inviting you to submit an abstract.

  2. You should receive one of the following emails inviting you to your own abstract submission area. If you have not registered with ModSim Connected, a link will be provided for you to do so and then access the abstract submission area. Otherwise, you can log on to ModSim Connected to accept the invitation and enter the abstract submission area.

  3. Not registered with ModSim Connected If you have not registered with ModSim Connected follow directions to create a ModSim Connected profile. Upon completion of the registration you will see a link to access the abstract submission area.

  4. If you have previously registered with ModSim Connected, log in and accept the invitation to the abstract project. Once accepted, click on the abstract project link to enter the abstract submission area.

  5. In the Abstract Management system, you will see a checklist of items for abstract submission. The first item to fill out is the Information on Principal Author and Information on Additional Authors, if applicable.

  6. Fill out all required fields in the Author Information form and click Submit for review.

  7. Next, either fill out the Abstract Detail form or upload your abstract under Upload Abstract Document (if any).

  8. To submit abstract via Abstract Detail form, fill out the fields and click Submit for Review. To upload a Word or PDF version of your abstract, browse to and select the file, then click Upload.

  9. Once you are ready for the submission to be reviewed, be sure to check all the check boxes in the Authors Information and Abstract-Paper sections. This will release your submission to the review phase.

  10. You may leave and return to the submission management system at any time. To return to your abstract submission area, log on to ModSim Connected. You will see the link to the abstract area under I’m a Member of… on the bottom right hand corner of the profile.
