The song is in Katy Perry’s view. • Characterization: She got out of her comfort zone and now she's wondering if she got too close to him. She finally saw the person was front of her and realize that not everyone is what they appear to be. • Foil: A character that contrasts with another character, usually the protagonist. • She's loving and understanding even through the negative she didn’t want the bad to affect their relationship. • Imagery: Imagine all his dirty laundry which never made her blink once. • Metaphor: Katy Perry was talking about his personal business that could be embarrassing if made public.
