The award must be applied toward tuition costs or associated fees. • Essays must be typed and consist of a minimum of 250 words and not more than 500 words. In keeping with the 2011 MLK Celebration’s theme, essays should be entitled : Serving Others, and should be submitted by December, 17, 2010 to City of Independence, Human Resources Dept. , 111 E.
