Chief Electoral Officer, General Election for Lok Shaba 2014, Andhra Pradesh will be live streaming 40000 polling station for the purpose of recording and monitoring the polling process which is divided into two phase (first phase is on 30th April and second phase is on 7th of May PC or Laptop with Internal of External Web camera will be used with specialized streaming software for the purpose of recording the video in local Hard disk and uploading the same to server for remote recording and viewing. Internet Connectivity will be available for uploading the video stream at each polling station

Polling station PC / Laptop dependency • Windows Operating systems having windows XP SP2, Vista, 7 or 8 • Adobe Flash Media Encoder version 3.2 Installed in the PC / Laptop • Web camera connected via USB and driver installed or Internet Web camera • Integrated microphone or external microphone for audio recording • Configuration file in xml format which shall to create profile in Abode flash media encoder • Disk space of 2 GB or above for recording of live stream locally • Internet connectivity
Role of Web streaming Volunteer • On the day of polling volunteer should operate the PC / Laptop for the purpose of Live streaming • The above purpose will required the volunteer to be trained and aware on how to use web streaming software and other setting • Volunteer will also need to check the working of web camera and internet Connection before live streaming • Volunteer should also know how to record the video file in local Hard disk and copy the same in CD or USB
