Gorilla trekking trekking is one of the lovely activities that many tourists This includes: ✓Uganda ✓Rwanda ✓Congo There are three races of the gorilla species that is; the western gorillas that live in the lowlands, the eastern gorilla which also inhabits the lowlands and the Graueri that stays in the mountain regions of Africa. The gorillas in the mountain are commonly referred to as giant apes in the tropical rain forests of Africa. They are simply the largest primates known to be living in the mountain regions. A good example is the Berengei which is found in the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and the Virunga Mountains.
The disturbing story about gorillas this place is the fact that there are only 650 left. Therefore, it has called for tourism conservation group and board initiatives such as Dian Fossey Foundation, International Gorilla Conservation Program, and the Gorilla fund project amid many others to look for the support from the masses in regards to protecting the gorillas and other primates including the Chimpanzees.
