Lessons Learned • Steps should be more closely tied to the IL standards which include the students performing their own article searches, not just retrieving exactly what we give them. • To identify resources beforehand and know if enough of a variety are available. • Limitations of EBSCO tool (FaceBook, Oxline in Doram).
More Lessons Learned • Self-enrollment needed further explanation or insert the module into the course. • For assessment of the module, it would be ideal to compare the students who complete it online to students who receive the lesson in-person.
Still More Lessons Learned • We did not consider if any students needed accommodations. We should ask if any students have accommodations from Student Affairs and if any of our ESL/EFL students need modified versions. • Students identified more with peers in video. • A new, contemporary topic should be considered each year. Currently in process of this!
