The Amazfit Stratos 3 Smartwatch has finally arrived at the Indian shores after its premier launch in 2019. Let us find out the salient features of this smartwatch, which comes into India with its reputation preceding it. The smartwatch is backed by Xiaomi, the Smartphone giants, and Wearable maker Huami, and that's why one can expect the best. 1. The exterior and display: Amazfit Stratos 3 is made of stainless steel and a Silicone strap to bind it to your wrist.Four buttons surround the dial, with each having a specific function. The dial is transflective and well-protected by a hard Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. The dial measures 1.34 inch with a resolution of 320x320 pixels and an anti-fingerprint coat on top. 2. Amazfit software: It has dual OS support and a dual-core chipset, which is 1.2GHz. The RAM is 512 MB, which enables fast processing and is supported by a 2 GB memory storage. Communication Software: The Amazfit 3 packs a punch with its communication devices. It has a feature called 'Near Field Communication' ( NFC), which conveniences communication with compatible devices but over a short-range only. It is wireless technology and requires a transmitting device with a device that receives. Next up is the Bluetooth 5.0, which allows telephonic conversation and audio from the MP3 player. The GPS/ Glonass is a double whammy. Even though GPS is more powerful, the Glonass comes in handy at high altitudes due to the specific positioning of the satellites.

Sensors: •This smartwatch has a state of the art sensor known as Biotracker PPG bio-tracking optical sensor. The PPG measures heart activity using electrical signals that are derived from natural light. It also measures Pulse rate variations. •6-Axis Accelerometer offers accurate functionality of an electronic compass with high resolution. •Thanks to the Android platform, the Geomagnetic Sensor on Amazfit 3, can determine the position of a device. •The Ambient light sensor senses the light outside and brightens or dims it. 3. Exercise measures: • The VO2Max can measure the oxygen intake of the user while exercising. • The Exercise TE or Training Effect measures the immediate impact of the training of the user. • The Exercise Load (TD) measures the improvement in your exercise pattern over two to four weeks. • Recovery Time Data indicates how long it would take for your body to recover from the previous schedule and get ready for the next exercise schedule. Battery life: The battery is 3000Ah and can last up to fourteen days in ultra-endurance mode. On smart mode, it can last seven days. GPS usage would limit it to seventy hours, and it takes only 2.5 hours to charge it fully.
