The company has installed 3 windmills with the capacity of 800 kW each totaling to 2.4 MW. • The power generated from one windmill is utilized for running company engaged in diamond cutting & polishing. • The rest of power generated from the other two (2) windmills i.e. 1.6 MW is sold to Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) at a concessional rate of Rs. 3.31/unit as against around Rs. 7/unit. • This power is then utilized by Gujarat Electricity in supply to small scale, cottage industries and for other social causes.
