Event Up Date • Five flagship public events agreed with projected attendance of 3,000 people • Ickworth, Bury St Edmunds - May 20 2012 • Mount Stewart – Northern Ireland – 26 May 2012 • Museum of Liverpool – 3 June 2012 • Riverside, Glasgow – 9 June • St Fagan’s, Cardiff – 16 June • Smaller events currently being arranged by BBC Learning – confirmed in Lincoln on 10th June and Appleby Magna on 8th July
Programme details • The Great British Story – A People’s History – presented by Michael Woods • BBC Two – prime evening slot • Eight week run • Transmission date likely to be mid- May • Follow-up programme commissioned – likely to contain HLF funded projects but no guarantees
