  2. EDA XML Specification • Uses Express Information Model similar to EDIF 400 Information Model • Covers schematics, connectivity and PCB/MCM • Domain semantics explicitly defined in the Information Model • Derived DTD is at: www.e-tools.com/xml/dtds/EdaXML.dtd

  3. Relationship with EIA • EIA will own the final EdaXML specifications • EdaXML information model • base document similar to EDIF 400 information model • an EdaXML technical committee will be able to add XML specific enhancements • EdaXML reference manual
