What is AIESEC? • AIESEC aims to develop potential, leadership and cultural understanding, while also providing a platform for students to gain practical skills and experience. • Through this, AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organization, and is present in 110 countries, 1800 universities and has 55,000 members around the world. • The first and original youth-run organization in the world

Grow Project • Create and develop training resources related to topics like career planning and self awareness. • Deliver trainings on career planning, soft skills, time management, project management, personal branding and more. • Deliver cultural preparation seminars to participating high school students. You will prepare representative traditional objects and presentations from your country. • Organize after-hours activities during the week for the students involved in the program that stimulate their creativity and sense of action.

  8. The Northern Star: Russia Community Development: Project 1. You are not Alone • Trainee will work in the rehabilitation centers and boarding schools. The centre gives good medical help for the children with serious diseases, but they also need psychological support, which will be organized by intern. • The intern should organize quality psychological work with disabled children in the centre and look after the children at the orphanage. • The intern will also organize art-therapy and fairy-tale therapy trainings with children. During children leisure time, the intern should organize games for the children • Duration – between 6 to 8 weeks • Starts – Jan. - April

Financial literacy of youth • Organize and facilitate Developing Cases, Games and Trainings on Financial Literacy themes for pupils in school • •Searching Good Case Practices of Financial Literacy of Youth in the world • •Facilitate discussions during master classes • •Introduce your culture (tradition, customs, national food, games, songs etc.), talk about cultural differences, comparing countries • Duration – between 6 to 8 weeks • Starts – Jan. - April

  10. Community Development: Project No. 1 • Spreading awareness on HIV/AIDS through local NGOs and other associated bodies. The campaign will involve trips to various NGOs of different districts and local bodies. • Evaluating and providing inputs to the local as well as to the district NGOs . Finally, interns will provide Haryana AIDS Control Society with detailed reports • Details of the working details • There will be a team of 3- 5 trainees working on each project • Duration –minimum of 6 weeks • Starts – Jan. - April

Community Development: Project No. 2 • To work with mentally and physically disabled children by teaching them art, craft, sports, drama and music • Cross cultural education through extra-curricular activities, such as role-play and global village • Visiting centres of the orphans and carrying out different activities • Details of the working details • The NGO staff will guide the interns during the internship. The food and accommodation is not free. • Duration –minimum of 6 weeks • Starts – Jan. - April

Academy of Perspectives • Interns will start 5-week series of seminars in high schools • Topics for the seminars will be linked to the cultural diversity, setting up goals, career and self-development, entrepreneurship and other interesting topics of high school students. • The final stage, after a promotional campaign and a series of seminars will prepare two events, the Global Village and the Closing Ceremony. • Duration – minimum of 6 weeks • Starts – Jan. – April • Project 2. Kindergarten Teaching • Teaching children English, songs, rhymes, poems, providing fun activities for them during their free time and teach about your culture. • Food and Accommodation (1 meal) provided

The Oasis of the Pacific: Philippines Social Developmental Projects • Aspiring Citizens for Community Empowerment– Supporting and collaborate with people living below poverty line and helping them fight the daily struggle of brought on by poverty by providing education, raise awareness of illnesses and hygiene and acquire human rights. • Citizens’ Disaster Response Centre– Working for an NGO that responds to minor disasters and major emergencies, and helps communities increase their disaster management capacity. • Visayan Forum Foundation – Working for an NGO that provides residential care and community based programs and services for women and children in difficult circumstances.
