  3. Today we will… • Learn the French words for our family members • Meet a very famous family

  4. Victorian’s and their families • Victorians were very keen on family • Victorian poor families were huge! • Rich families liked to have their portraits photographed or painted

  6. Tu as un frère? • Oui, j'ai un frère. • Non, je n'ai pas de frère.

  7. Tu as une soeur? • Oui, j'ai une soeur. • Non, je n'ai pas de soeur.

  8. Time for Practise • Group 1 • You are working on the word search. • See how many words you can find. • Group 2 • You are working on the Simpson’s sheet. • Draw the pictures in the correct place and label correctly. • Group 3 • You are working on the ‘Sonia’ worksheet. • Fill in the gaps in the sentences.

  9. Have you done everything? • I know how to name my family • I can remember some of the hints that will help me

  10. Your challenge for this term • I want you to bring in a photo of your family • I will scan it into the computer, and give it back to you • We will then label it in French • You can have the photo back straight away • There is more information on the school website!

  11. Next week… • We’re going to find out how to tell somebody what your family’s names are!
