  2. When you hear the name Shakespeare you probably find it familiar. That’s because William Shakespeare once was an author who became really famous and even now, nearly 400 years later his work is still around. The reason why Shakespeare’s work became so famous is because he was a master in writing in a special way that would make people recognize themselves in his texts, and that would touch their hearts and souls.

  4. William James Shakespeare was born the 26th April in 1564. When he was 18 he married the 26 year old Anne Hathaway because she got pregnant. And only 6 months later his first child was born, her name was Susanna. 7 years later Anne got pregnant again, and this time with twins Hamnet & Judith. Sadly, Hamnet died at the young age of 11. The very well known play Hamlet, was written by Shakespeare as a grief for losing his only son.

  5. After the twins were born William went to London to try his luck as an actor and writer. Whenhe first moved to London, hewaspoor and no onenoticedhim, untilheplayed as a actor in Lord Hunsdons squad. This became his breakthrough and after that hestarted to writeplays and sonnets. He got morejobs as an actor.

  6. Some of William Shakespeare’s most famous plays and sonnets are Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, Richard III, Mc Beth, Henry V and the sonnets 18, 116, 73. The most famous sonnet is nr 18 and the last line of the sonnet has become a meaningful quote. “So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, so long lives this and this gives life to thee”
