SPR Construction conducts Free Health Check Up camp for Needy people

With the increasing mortality rates, it has become important to lead a healthy and better lifestyle. The same is neglected due to lack of quality and well-timed healthcare. To address this issue, SPR Group, one of the leading real estate developers in Chennai organised a free health camp in Perambur. This initiative saw a great response with active participation from the Perambur community. Besides, general health check-up, the camp also conducted Blood Pressure Check, Diabetes check-up, BMI, Paediatric health check-up and screening of respiratory diseases. Patients were prescribed and distributed medicines free of cost. The main aim of the health camp by SPR Group was to offer timely and periodic healthcare facility to the Perambur community.

  1. SPR Conducts Free Health Camp to Necessitous people. Chennai, October: SPR group one of the leading real estate developers in Chennai organized a free health camp for the necessitous people of Perambur. This initiative saw active participation from the community around Perambur. Over 250 people benefited from the health camp which was much utilized by the senior citizens in the area. Mortality rates are predominantly higher among people who live below the poverty line. This is mainly due to in-access to quality and well-timed health care. According to the recent census report about 11.28 % of the population is below the poverty line in Tamil Nadu. This health camp was organized to address the situation at a miniature level. Apart from general health checkup, BMI, Diabetes check, Blood Pressure check and screening of respiratory diseases, and Pediatric health checkups, appropriate medicines were also prescribed and distributed completely free of cost to the patients who needed the immediate care. Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Pankaj Ojha, Chief Marketing Officer said, “As a home grown company we understand the pulse of the society well. Walking towards growth and transformation we also have our own responsibility in building a healthier community where people can live in harmony. Having regular health checkup is important for children and elderly people in the family. We believe that this initiative by SPR will serve best to every indigent person in this community.” This initiative is aimed to provide, periodic quality healthcare facility to the people of Perambur month on month. All following camps will be scheduled on the last week of every month.
