  2. Basic Information In the laboratory environment to remove vapours, gases, and dust of toxic, flammable or other corrosive materials, chemical fume hood is used. They are the most important mechanism in the smooth workflow of the laboratory environment. They protect workers by containing vapours, dust, gases, and fumes generated within the hood. BENCH HOODS Available in Steel or Stainless Steel Construction, bench hoods are 3ft wide and also go up to 12ft width. With 24” or 30” deep clear interior, bench fume hoods standard models help in contributing to effective laboratory ventilation as air flows through the hood.

  3. Basic Information 2. WALK-IN HOODS Walk-in hoods have a different sash opening and include twin vertical sashes, combination or horizontal sash. They are available in various colors and are used with chromatography, distillations, pilot plant mock-ups, vat drug preparation, and other large equipment procedures. 3.
