  4. Update Cloud Backup • 25 Schools Migrated to new cloud backup solution • All new servers quotes provided with cloud backup solution • Schools who have expressed interest have been emailed with costs and instructions for purchase

  5. Further Updates • SIMS Technical Roadmap • SQL 2012 upgrade – Not supported until Spring 2013 Release • Central EPO Server • McAfee Support Server 2012/Windows 8 – No issues according to AVR

SIMS Technical Road Map The following products will cease to be supported from these dates: • Autumn 2012 – Ended • Office 2003 • Summer Release 2013 - End Of Support • Windows Server 2003 32bit • Windows Server 2003 64bit • Summer Release 2013 – End Of Support • Windows XP 32bit (Windows XP 64bit has never been supported) • SOLUS2 – Spring 2014 • Office 2007 – Autumn 2013

SIMS Technical Road Map SQL Server 2008 R1 & R2 • These dates have been updated with last supported dates as Spring 2014 and Summer 2014 respectively • SQL Server 2012 will be supported from Spring 2013 – however, as there is little benefit in moving straight away we will be staggering the upgrades.
