MOT+ LD Editor • Strengths • Designers should be freed from XML editing/reading; • XML produced in backround with error checking • Not everything has to be said – automatic detection of components (don’t have to declare them) • Graphic models give additional degree of freedoms • Global view of the design • Models can be navigated in MOT+ and on the Web • An alternative to UML graphs; all the IMS-LD in one graphic model • Future Improvement (probably in Explor@ LCMS) • Still Level A – working on levels B and C • LOM editor is an Explor@ tool for metadata • Automatize association to Item object • Zip the manifest and create the resources folder
