  3. Giving and Getting • The SUNY Learning Commons • Currently focused on increased communications between faculty and staff within the University • Using Wordpress/BuddyPress. Giving and Getting • Innovative Instruction Technology Grants (ITTG) • 117 proposals received and reviewed • Award levels $10K, 20K, 60K • Next year up to $120K for scalable projects involving multiple campuses • 48 grants awarded resulting in approximately $800,000 in funds to campuses • Information on awards available at http://www.suny.edu/provost/iitg2012recipients.cfm

Giving and Getting • Other interesting activities within SUNY • Stony Brook University and the University at Buffalo are involved in the Internet2 e-textbook initiative that includes Open Textbook publisher Flatworld Knowledge • Tompkins Cortland Community College received a NGLC grant to work with 7 other schools on Project Kaleidoscope. They have been providing additional funding and they will be brining additional SUNY community colleges into the project.
