  4. Brussels is in the centre of Belgium. In Brussels they speak two languages, Dutch and French

  5. In this building in Brussels, the European Parlement, the top of the European Union discusses about lots of problems in Europe. Herman Van Rompuy, president of the European Council

  6. This is the Atomium. • It’s been built in 1958 for Expo 58. • It consists out of 9 bulbs which are fixed on each other by great rollers. Actually it’s a milion times enlarged atom.

  7. This is Manneke Pis • It is a bronze statue of an urinating boy. • Two streets further you can see Jeanneke Pis. It’s the same statue, but a girl.

  8. This is the King Boudewijnstadium (formely known as the Heizel stadium) with the Atomium in the background. • It is very famous by the Heizeldrama. Because of this many people were hurt or even died.

  18. This is the abbey tower. Earlier there was a tip on it, but this was destroyed by a fire. Not so long ago the tower was renovated. You can climb the tower and you can visit the crypt beneath it.
