  4. Avoid Deceiving Yourself About How Well You Study - If you receive a low grade even after studying it usually indicates ineffective study methods - Most time should be spent writing and thinking out concepts NEXT

  5. Memorize as Little as Possible - Memorization takes away from knowing the actual concept - Memorizing formulas is okay but understand them first NEXT PREVIOUS

  6. Write Solutions to Problems Dealing with Each Topic - It is critical that you work out problems one at a time - Do not begin dealing the next topic until you completely understand the current one - If you dislike a topic make special, persistent attempt to master the topic in order to achieve total confidence NEXT PREVIOUS

  7. Apply the ACE Steps - Answer each problem by working it out in writing - Confirm each answer is correct - Examine your understanding of each problem after you have confirmed the answer is correct NEXT PREVIOUS

  8. Complete the Review - Complete and review the ACE steps - Clear up all possible uncertainties in your notes and textbook PREVIOUS
