  2. REFLECTION Indeed, this assignment was quite challenging and tough as we managed to put a lot of effort throughout completing this task. As a first step, we searched as many information as we could in regards to the topic. We assessed the Internet by using Yahoo, Google as well as Wikipedia and found several articles about corpus linguistics. Other than that, we also borrowed few books which are available in library and listed down some of the main points that we had to include in the assignment.However, with many sources and information we got confused since every single of the information that we got were not the same in terms of the content itself. The scope of corpus linguistics itself was very broad and different people had different point of view according to corpus linguistics. Finally, we managed to had as many discussions as we could and discussed among us and found out the essential points of the topic.

  3. REFLECTION • Basically, as for my personal assignment I used to choose one article by Masputeriah Hamzah which highlighted the facilitating Second Language Acquisition (SLA) in a Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) learning environment. In fact, this article focuses on a study which explored the application of CMC in English for Civil Engineering (ECE) learning environment in University of Technology Malaysia.Besides, I will also know how the use of CMC assists to ease the process of learning for students as well as to the teacher in such a conducive environment that will be using the second language learning and acquisition.Moreover, this kind of assignment makes me realize on how important it is to incorporate Second Language Acquisition in a Computer-Mediated Communication learning environment. This is because, students will gain a better enhancement in the level proficiency of students in acquiring second language as well as in computer skills.
