First Level • Language AND literature • 1 written language class / week • 1 oral class / week (NB, not “conversation” classes) • Independent learning grammar + exercises • Continuous assessment : oral (24% of module) • Examination : written (36% of module) • (add language lectures in Semester 2)

Before you hear each item, you will have one minute to study the questions. Each item will be played twice.”

  11. Productive grammar grid • A couple of observations • Verbs : Person ; “Time” i.e. Tense (a problem of metalanguage, ditto “Commands” Imperative) • Pronouns • Adjectives : Rules of agreement only as of N4? yet comparative / superlative as of N3
