TUITION ASSISTANCE • Active duty students may receive 100% of their tuition though Tuition Assistance for UNCW Extension classes only (main campus classes are NOT covered 100%). • After receiving your completed TA from Base Education, turn in your TA form to the UNCW Office in Room 123 of the John A. Lejeune Education Center for processing. • Notify the UNCW base education office at 910.451.5266 if you drop or change any of your classes after your TA has been submitted to UNCW. You will also need to inform Base Education to update your TA form (pay attention to the UNCW add /drop dates).

UNCW HEALTH INSURANCE 1. Are the Onslow Extension students exempt from the mandatory health insurance? • Students are exempt from health insurance unless they take 6 or more credit hours on the Wilmington Campus. 2. Do the Onslow Extension students need to complete the waiver in order to remain exempt? • If they are taking six or more hours physically in Wilmington and they have other insurance they should fill out a waiver.Visit this webpage for more information: http://uncw.edu/healthservices/shc_studentins.htm 3.
