Multi-target tracking Multi-target tracking: finding the tracks of an unknown number of moving targets from noisy observations. Track: sequence of “States” travelled by a target need to be estimated (we’ll deal with on-line problems). Requires Data Association: PF tracking objects individually, lack a consistent way to resolve the ambiguities that arise in associating object with measurements • Exploiting relations can improve the efficiency of the tracker • Monitoring relations can be a goal in itself We model the transition probability of the system with a RDBN.
