The Focuser . . . Hands and Eyes Whenever you want to make a big point, totally focus your class, you say “hands and eyes.” Your class repeats “hands and eyes”, folds their hands and stares at you. Hands & Eyes
The Activator . . . Mirrors/Mirrors and Words • Mirrors is one of WBT’s simplest and most powerful techniques. • You say “mirrors” and your students respond “mirrors.” • They then pick up their hands ready to mimic your gestures. • You say “mirrors and words” and your students respond “mirrors and words,” ready to mimic your gestures and repeat your words.
