What other states can learn • Collaboration between local and state health departments is key. • Internal education is just as important as external education. • If you are going to do an assessment and collect all of the evidence for a third party to review; take 6 months, gather the information electronically, and build an internal team empowered to make decisions about what the best evidence is.
