  4. The books of Samuel Slide3 • One of the most significant contributions to the Old Testament is found in 2Samuel 17. This is the prophecy of Nathan. In this prophecy David is promised an eternal dynasty which will be understood as a promise for a Messiah from the House of David.

  13. 1and 2 Kings Slide 2 • The books of Kings shows the achievement of the kings. Above all it teaches that the Kings’ faithfulness to God is crucial to the life of all of Israel.
