  4. Why did we Choose this Project? • The first of its kind. • Applicable and marketable idea. • Rapid growth of VoIP Technology (1.1Million User in USA) • Bridge between two ages (old PSTN Network, and New one: VoIP)

  5. Why VoIP Switchboard?! • Hardware Switchboards are expensive. • Flexibility and scalability. • Uses company existing resources (Computers, Servers…).

  6. Technologies Used: • H.323 VoIP Standard. • C# with COM Component Object Model) Programming. • Low Level Network Programming (Sockets). • In the web site: • ASP.Net, java script, some active x

  7. Some Functions: • Interactive Answer Machine…(TTS engine) • Voice Mail (Local and Web) • Client Restrictions and Scheduling. • Company Bound Calls. • Auto Answer (For clients).

  8. Disappointment: Half Duplex Modem OOPS!
