  1. By admin Posted June 19, 2018 In General 0 TUMMY TUCK VERSUS LIPOSUCTION SURGERY Cosmetic surgeries are performed in order to reshape how someone’s body looks and to create the physical parts more attracting and better looking. One of the most common parts where people are willing to get surgery on is their tummy.

  2. It is true that our body goes through a lot of changes, excess weight loss, weight gain, pregnancy, stretch marks, saggy skin and a lot more. Solution like Tummy tuck surgeries and Liposuction are there; however, they are not to be confused with the mode of staying fit. One of the most common problems that is faced today, especially by women is their uneven body contours. This occurs due to the excess fat that accumulates around a body part. Abdominoplasties, popularly known as the tummy tuck surgery is a great solution to solve such problem. Liposuction is also another way to achieve smoother and tighter skin. However both the surgeries vary is processes and price. The candidates who usually undergo tummy tuck are from the age group of above 40 years old, whereas the candidates who undergo liposuction are of the age group of below 40 years old. The reason is that though both the surgeries are done for the removal of excess fat, liposuction is done when the elasticity of the skin is terrific. The surgery could be performed on any of the candidates, though the rate is higher for women to undergo this cosmetic and corrective surgery. Abdominoplasty Surgery (Tummy Tuck) Tummy Tuck surgery is commonly used to tighten the skin muscles caused by excess weight loss or gain. It smoothes the skin around, some may lose weight during the process, while others may not. So it should not be confused as a weight loss method. It removes the excess abdominal skin and tightens the muscle in order to generate a great body contour. There is a higher chance of scars, which also varies on the type of tummy tuck someone has getting. The scars depend on the size of surgery someone is

  3. getting, it tends to leave scars around hips and the belly button, as that is actually re-created/relocated. Usually the scars stay hidden under the bikini line, however if the amount of skin that is being tightened is a lot, the scars might be deep and may stay longer as well. It is the best solution for someone with the problem of loose skin muscles and tissues, the recovery period also varies from person to person, mostly it takes about 2 to 3 weeks to fully recover after the surgery. The cost might vary from Rs. 84,000 to Rs. 1,40,000. Liposuction Surgery Liposuction Surgery commonly known as ‘lipo’ is another way for removal of excess fat from your body, again it should be noted that none of these surgeries are known to cure obesity. When excess fat is stored in the tissue, i.e. accumulation of unused fats in lipids, this cosmetic surgery is performed in order to reshape the area. Liposuction is also another way of fat removal, but is commonly used on the skin that has not lost its elasticity, unlike what is commonly seen for Tummy tuck. It is less invasive and is not painful either. Local anesthesia is enough to perform liposuction. Liposuction has a higher chance of a faster recovery, as smaller incisions are made during the surgery. It could be performed on thighs, buttocks, abdomen, chest, cheeks, arms, underarms, back, knee, and calves. Liposuction does not cure loosen or saggy skin, rather it is the surgery that removes the excess accumulated fat. The cost range might vary from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,00,000, also, due to the increased in advanced technology, the time and cost range both have been effective for liposuction.

  4. Risks Involved: There are however certain risks involved in the surgery, for instance, bruises and scars may stay for a certain time period, including temporary pain, swelling and revisional surgery. Thus it is necessary to research well and go for counseling with the surgeon before coming to a decision of going through such surgery and hence, and follow the steps of pre and post-surgery in order to avoid such risks.
