Mission Statement The Republican Party of Palm Beach County is committed to promoting Republican ideals and principles; recruiting and electing qualified candidates for public office; developing a grassroots organization that will motivate the electorate to vote; and raise the funds necessary to complete these objectives.
Governing Body of The Party • Elects The Party’s Officers (Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer) • Approves the County Party’s Constitution & Rules, Policies and Procedures • Approves the County Party’s Budget • Confirms the Members of the Board of Directors
REC Districts • 100 REC Districts • Approximately 2400 Registered Republicans • As a Committeeman or Committeewoman, you are the Representative of the Registered Republicans to the Republican Party of Palm Beach County
Representing the Republicans in Your REC District • You are the liaison between the Party and the Registered Republicans in Your REC District • It is important for you to have contact with the Registered Republicans in your District. • Many average Republicans do not even know the Republican Party of Palm Beach County exists.
Organizing Your REC District The REC is the basis for the Republican Party of Palm Beach County’s Grassroots effort. We rely on you to organize and develop your REC District

Important Rules & Procedures of the Republican Executive Committee
Residence Requirement for REC Members • All REC Members must reside in the REC District they Represent • If an REC Member moves out of his/her District, the seat becomes automatically vacant
Terms in Office for REC Members • REC Members serve 4 year terms • Your term in office expires at the end of every Presidential Election Year • Elections for REC Voting Member Seats are held in the September Primary of a Presidential Election Year
Loyalty Oaths • Every Member of the REC must sign a Loyalty Oath which will be filed with the Republican Party of Florida • The Loyalty Oath Affirms that you will not publicly or financially support the election of any Candidate who is not a Republican in a Partisan Race.
REC Meeting Attendance • 3 consecutive absences result in immediate removal from the REC • Any REC Member who is absent for 3 meetings in any calendar year will also be automatically removed
