Area of Study 2 Networks • Focuses on how networked information systems allow data to be exchanged in local and global environments and how mobile devices are used within these networks. • Any software.
Area of Study 3 ICT in a global society • Focuses on how applications of particular ICT causes tensions and conflicts between stakeholders. • Considers contemporary issues in the following contexts: computer gaming, social networking, robotics, e-commerce and cloud computing. • Spreadsheet software, web authoring software, visualising thinking tools and tools for planning a project.
