Purpose of Benefit the World: • Promote and provide accessibility to recycle • Increase the amount recycled by the public • Provide an incentive for the public to recycle • In the future: • Expand our product to different locations • Overall increase in reusable materials collected • Which in return will save the place where we live • Green Box: • Easy to recycle boxes for ODU students to use (around major locations) • Step by step instructions • Resembles a “Red Box” – except you insert recycled materials • Allows for student organizations to get involved • Organizations can “Adopt a Box” • Each box will be emptied by that organization, and cared after • Community service hours will be rewarded • Swipe your ODU student ID • Account: • Login with a Student ID • Redeem points for recycling in a Green Box to select ODU locations • Keep a record of how much you recycled

Who will use Green Box’s? • First implemented at ODU • All ODU members will have access by a student ID • Showing the impact of an university’s recycling habitats increase with this product, we can then expand to different schools in the future, then world wide. • Very easy to use, all instructions and a touch screen will be guiding the person through their transaction

The Production of a Green Box: • People: knowledge of manufacturing a high-tech box (Reverse-Vending-Machine) • Materials: raw materials, electronic components, and computers • Tools and Machines:???? • A lot of time and energy will be invested into making the Green Box (manufacturing and placement, plus upkeep) • Money: is a key factor that will keep the production of this machine going, the more Green Boxes that are produced then the lower the cost in the long run. • Sponsors: Green Box is a Non-Profit company

(cutting down on cost)
