  4. Chromite-Cr2O4 • Chromite is used in the refractory business because of its high melting point. • ORC chromite is unique Chromite to the world with its round shape making it easier to cast perfect molds • ORC chromite quality is so good that it is being sold as a Zircon Replacement.

  8. Mining Process We use Bulldozers, loaders, Excavators, and a series of conveyers ORC does Surface mining at mine site

  9. Raw product is brought in by haul trucks and it looks like dirt Separates High Mineral Content (HMC) from dirt by using water and gravity HMC is more dense causing gravity to not separate it out.

  10. Drymill separates HMC into Chromite, Zircon, High Iron, and Garnet We electrostatic and electromagnetic separation

  11. Product is put into sacks using a bagging machine Bags are stacked and stored Bags are palletized to ship domestically

  13. ORC has a unique approach in reclaiming land that was mined in a process called reclamation. We return land to its natural state and plant trees and grass. The mining process eliminates “Hard Pan” making it easier for trees to grow and build deeper root systems
