For this area, how do people usually get the water? Do they buy the water? Usually they get the water from the deep well that located in the ground 20 metre depth. That water usually being used for bathe, wash clothes, and other household needed. And because it’s pure, it’s good for watering the plants. It proofed by the leafy trees.
How many who take the water from well? Do they take it by parl, like traditional way? Around 100 people. And they get the water from water tab. And remember, the water from the water tab is not drinkingable. We have to cook it first before we use it.
Thus, could you explain further about the flow of the water from the water tab to the houses? Sure, the water was taken from the (arteris well) then it flowed trough the pumps, it moved to metal tank in the top of the well and to the pumps of each house.
Is there any house have its own well? No, there is only one well. And it’s for together.
For the quality of the water, is it good already? The quality of the water is good, no disease contain on it. When we want to use the water for drink or cooking, we boil the water first. Therefore it will be not harmful for our health.
Is there any difficulties to get the water? Does the weather affect it too? We got problem to get the water when the pump is broken. No affect of the weather, tough its on rainy season or dry season.
Beside the water from the water tab, is there any other source where people can get their drinking water? Yes, we get our drinking water by water gallon. We get it from the water drinking agents inour area. One gallon for one family can be used for three days.
And then people fill in again, right? In here, how much it’s cost for one gallon? In here, Jatingaleh, for one gallon is cost 2.500 rupiah.
