Current focus of work: production and sharing of 8 indicators • 8 indicators: • 3 air pollution and ozone depletion • 1 climate change • 2 water • 1 land and soil • 1 waste (A1) Emission of pollutants into atmospheric air (A2) Ambient air quality in urban areas (A3) Ozone depleting substances (B3) Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (C10) BOD5 and concentration of ammonium in rivers (C11) Nutrients in freshwater (D1) Protected areas (without regimes of protection) (I1) Waste generation

  5. Production and sharing of the 8 indicators by Central Asian countries As analyzed at the 8th session of JTF, details in analytical paper No information from Turkmenistan was received

  7. Production - recommendations Dark green – done Light green – add online immediately after JTF-8 Yellow – add online before JTF-9 Orange – problems of a more complex nature – present progress at JTF-9/add online before JTF-9 White – no information
