  1. 5 HOME RECIPES FOR NATURAL FACE MASKS

  2. We're all stuck at home with the Covid-19 pandemic, and missing our regular facial at the spa.  However, it's important to continue to care for your complexion.  Why not use the time indoors to give yourself a relaxing in-home facial? There are so many recipes you can create with natural ingredients you'll find easily at home.

  3. Recipe #1: EXFOLIATE Combine 1 tablespoon mashed papaya, 1 teaspoon oatmeal powder and 1 teaspoon plain yogurt and mix well.  Apply on your face and neck, massaging gently.  Leave on for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse off.  This will remove dead skin and brighten your skin. Remember to moisturize after.

  4. Recipe #2: SOFTEN For dry skin, mash half an avocado, add 1 teaspoon honey and a little yogurt.  Mix well and apply on your exfoliated face and neck.  Wash off with tepid water after 15 minutes.  Your skin will be silky and soft.  This mixture works well on dry cuticles as well.

  5. Recipe #3: MOISTURIZE Use bananas which have moisturizing, anti-wrinkle, anti-aging properties.  Combine half a ripe banana with 1 tablespoon honey and 1 teaspoon olive oil.  Make a smooth paste and apply all over your face.  After 10 minutes, wash off the pack.

  6. Recipe #4: REJUVENATE Combine half a cup of hot (not boiling) water and one-third cup oatmeal.  When the mixture has settled for 2-3 minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey and one small egg white. Apply a thin layer to your face and let it stay 10-15 minutes.  Rinse with warm water and you'll find you're looking and feeling better.

  7. Recipe #5: REVITALIZE Mix 1 teaspoon plain yogurt with the juice from 1/4 slice of orange, some of the orange pulp, and 1 teaspoon aloe.  Leave the mixture on your face for at least five minutes before rinsing it off.
