Polish Artist Małgorzata Chodakowska combines her sculptural talent with moving water to create romantic and elegant kinetic bronze figural water fountains. The Polish artist studied sculpting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She sculpted for years in Dresden and Germany and it was not long before she began to receive honors, awards and accolades for her work. For over twenty years, photographer Lothar Sprenger has been documenting the artworks of the Polish artist, including six catalogs and five calendars that have been created with works by Malgorzata
Małgorzata Chodakowska creates unusual statues, which bring water and bronze together to form spectacular fountains. Initially, she carves the statue from a large oak trunk, forming the general shape she wishes to create. As Małgorzata carves away layer by layer, the large pieces of wood transform into magnificent statues. But, she doesn't just stop there… Bella figura
