  1. Santa Monica Beach, Santa Monica, California, USA Santa Monica Beach, situated in the city of Santa Monica, is a renowned coastal stretch spanning three-and-a-half miles with light brown sand. This popular destination, drawing over 10 million visitors annually, consists of three distinct sections: North Beach, Pier Beach, and South Beach. The Santa Monica Pier, a historic landmark since its opening in 1909, hosts a plethora of attractions including Pacific Park with its solar-powered Ferris wheel, a vintage carousel, an aquarium, and various dining and shopping options. The pier also provides picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and serves as a hub for fishing and wildlife observation. Adjacent to the beach is the Ocean Front Walk, also known as the Santa Monica Boardwalk, offering a scenic path for activities like jogging, biking, and skateboarding.
