Case Study Mortgage Disclosure Act • Determine if the translation of the English forms to Spanishare correct, free of confusing words and concepts in the translation, and use understandable plain language reasonably accessible to different dialects spoken in the U.S. • To diagnose comprehension, we used highly structured one-on-one interviews. Participants represented a range of demographics, such as age, education, income, and experience with mortgages. (See Appendix A. Demographic Summary.) For this round, we had no industry participants.
