Activities: DO NOW!~ Moon Madness = make a flip book SJ Entry F80 Phases of Moon, Procedure page F-46 Part A = Observations in SJ and answer F80 AQ 1, 2 & 3 on separate paper Part B = Observations on yellow SS 80.1 and answer F80 AQ 4 & 5 SJ entry F81 Moon Phase Simulator, drawings in SJ from group activity Video, Bill Nye “The Moon” Hand in Student Sheet 80.1 “Observations of Moon Model” and F80 AQ 1 - 5 Homework: Vocabulary Unit 4 Space: Part 1

  2. DO NOW! Moon Madness = Flip Book • Pick up a Moon Madness sheet from the Shark. • Neatly cut out all 16 boxes. • Place boxes in order with 1 on top and 16 on the bottom. • Staple through the sun. • Flipping from top to bottom the moon should move from a new moon, through waxing to a full moon and then through waning back to a new moon.
