OUR MISSION Supporting children and youth from the most vulnerable groups through sports and education in values, for the purpose of contributing to a more egalitarian and inclusive society WHAT WE DO? FUTBOLNET METHODOLOGY • FutbolNet is a methodology for social intervention created by the Barça Foundation in 2011. The methodology uses football and other sports-related activities as tools for reflection and agents of change to improve the life of children and young people who are in vulnerable contexts. Each session is divided divided into three parts: 1 2 3 FIRST PARTPlayers discuss autonomously and agree to the rules of play. For example, if anyone shows a lack of respect, a penalty is awarded. SECOND PART A 15-minute football game is played, where the children develop their capacity to inter-relate and learn to take responsibility for their actions. THIRD PARTCritical post-game discussion among participants to assess the game and decide who has won based on behaviour and the application of the value in question.

  7. WHAT IS IT? A program that falls under two of our lines of work, applied to the minors and youth Justice Centers of Catalonia in collaboration with the Department of Justice of the Generalitat of Catalonia. PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE The main goal of the program is to use sports in general, and football in particular to convey values linked to sports practice with young people, as well as promote their development of social skills such as control of emotions, self-esteem and the resolution of conflicts in a dialogued manner, with the idea to promote their reintegration into society.

  9. ONE TEAM 'OneTeam’ is a projectdeveloped jointly by the Barça Foundation and the Euroleague that consists in regular training in the form of 2 hours of weekly sessions, using the FutbolNet methodology applied to basketball.

  10. ONE TEAM The Project started as a pilot at theCentre Penitenciari de Jovesand involves the players of the first team of Barça Lassa. Currently, 50 youngstersbetween 18 and 24 years old benefitfromthisprogram.

POSITIVE OUTCOMES While awaiting the results of the external evaluation that is being carried out, we already observe different improvements: • HEALTHY HABITS • MULTICULTURAL SOCIAL RELATIONS • SPACE FOR MEETING, DIALOGUE AND EXCHANGE TO FOSTER COHESION • POSITIVE ROLE MODELS • ATTITUDE TRANSFORMATION • ACQUISITION OF VALUES
