Downloading applications Search results will appear Click on the application you would like to download Downloading Candy Crush Enter the application you want to search into the search engine. • The details section allows you to read information about the application such as: • Application Screenshots • Description • What’s New • Information • In-app Purchases • Version History • Developer Apps • Developer Website • License Agreement The “Review” section allows you to view App Store Ratings and read customer reviews. The “Related” section allows you to view other applications created by the same creator. You can also view similar applications that customers also bought. To download the application Click on the box entitled “Free” or with the price of the application. Click “Install” iTunes will require you to sign into the iTunes Store using your Apple ID and password.

  8. Setting wallpapers & brightness • Access your iPhone home screen. • Select the “Settings” application

  9. Setting wallpapers & brightness Selecting “Apple Wallpaper” brings you to a page with several default iPhone wallpapers. Select the image you want as your wallpaper. Select “Wallpapers & Brightness” Click on the image under “Choose Wallpaper” You have the option of choosing an Apple wallpaper or choosing an image from your photo albums. This will take you to the “Wallpapers & Brightness” page.

  10. Setting wallpapers & brightness • Click “Set” • “Set Lock Screen” sets wallpaper shown before unlocking iPhone • “Set Home Screen” sets wallpaper shown on the home screen underneath the applications

  11. Setting wallpapers & brightness Manually adjust brightness by dragging button on blue line, brightness increasing from left to right Auto-Brightness automatically adjusts brightness by exterior lighting

  12. Setting & adjusting sound Access your iPhone home screen. Select the “Settings” application Select “Sounds”

  13. Setting & adjusting sound There are several type of vibration alerts that you can set. If you don’t like the given alerts you can create your own custom vibration alert. You can also opt for no vibrations. You can turn on or off the sound for locking your phone. You can also turn on or off the sound of keyboard clicks made when you type on your iPhone. For standard ringtone alerts, there are several default ringtones to choose from. You can also choose from various alert tones. You can also access the iTunes store and purchase a ringtone. You can select various sounds and vibration patterns for each alert setting. The sounds page allows you to set your iPhone vibration settings, ringer & alerts, sounds & vibration patterns, and lock sound & keyboard click settings.

  14. Review Download “The Weather Channel” application Set your Lock Screen and Home Screen to two different default Apple wallpapers. Turn off Auto-Brightness and set the Brightness to the brightest setting Change your ringtone to “Waves”, your text tone to “Pulse”, and turn your volume setting up to the loudest setting
