ANSWERS E.Q. Answer for Tuesday: Because water is a natural resource in such short supply many SWA countries have resorted to using irrigation to farm and raise farm animals. In addition there has been a lot of work done to learn how to take salt and minerals out of sea water(desalination). This process is very expensive and requires complex technology. Warm-up Answer: Dams control flooding, provide lakes for irrigation and produce hydroelectric power (electricity).
